Day 1
Kota Kinabalu
Arrive Kota Kinabalu, meet and transfer to hotel for overnight. Rest of day at own leisure.
Day 2 (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Poring Hot Spring
Proceed to Poring (130km), 450m, above sea level, east of Kinabalu Park HQ. Vegetation here is tropical lowland rainforest. Explore the jungle trail leading up to the treetop canopy walkways, 41m above the forest floor. Visit Kipungit Waterfall and soak in hot sulphur pools. Return to Kundasang for overnight.
Day 3 (Breakfast and Lunch)
Kinabalu Park
After breakfast, depart for Kinabalu Park Headquater at Kundasang. Visit the Visitor Centre and Mountain Garden; home to some of the 24 species of flowering rhododendrons, 10 species of carnivorous pitcher plants, estimated 1,400 species of orchids, over 600 species of ferns, more than 40 species of oak trees and over 300 species of birds. Take a guided walk on one of the trails in the cool surrounding of the montane forest before return to Kota Kinabalu in mid afternoon.

Day 4 (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Kota Kinabalu/Mulu
Transfer to airport for direct flight to Mulu. On arrival, meet and transfer to Royal Mulu Resort. After lunch, transfer by boat to Park HQ for registration. Trek 45 minutes on raised plank walk through lowland rainforest and peat swamp to Lang caves. View the various limestone formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Walk inside the largest cave passage of Deer cave to the Garden of Eden. Witness the daily exodus of thousands of bats at sunset before we return. Overnight at Royal Mulu Resort.
Day 5 (Breakfast and Lunch)
Mulu/Kota Kinabalu
Transfer 45 minutes by longboat up Melinau River to explore Wind Caves and be enthralled by the beauty of King’s room. Then to Clearwater caves to see the subterranean river passage which at 100 km, form the longest cave system in South East Asia. Lunch at nearby Clearwater River before we transfer to airport for return flight to Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 6 (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Sandakan/Sukau
Transfer to airport for early flight to Sandakan. On arrival at Sandakan airport at 8.50am, proceed for a short tour of Sandakan town including a tea break in one of the houses on the water village and the Australian War Memorial. Continue to Sandakan jetty for an estimated 2 hours boat journey to Sukau Rainforest Lodge along Sabah’s longest river, Kinabatangan with opportunity to view birds and wildlifes in virgin mangrove, wetland and rainforest habitats.
Late afternoon take a two hours river cruise using electric motor in search of some of the 10 primate species including Proboscis monkeys as they settle down on treetops along the Kinabatangan River. Return for solar heated hot shower, candle light dinner and slide show conducted by naturalist guide. Overnight at Sukau Rainforest Lodge.
Day 7 (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Sukau
Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbills. A 6.00 am morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to view more birds and wildlifes. Proceed to the Kelenanap ox-bow lake for a short jungle walk (if weather permits). Experience the wilderness of Borneo. You have the option to participate in our conservation project by planting trees at our 64 acres adopted land.
In the afternoon, we proceed for another river cruise for more wildlifes. After dinner an optional night safari cruise spotting nocturnal animals, crocodiles and birds. Overnight at Sukau Rainforest Lodge.

Day 8 (Breakfast and Lunch)
Sukau/Sepilok
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Sukau Village for a short tour and return to Sandakan by boat journey. Lunch at Sandakan before proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Trek ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden plank walks to witness the feeding of the orang utans at 3 pm and video show. Transfer to airport for departure to Kota Kinabalu.
Please bring along comfortable light clothing, walking shoes, sandal, torch light, raincoat, swimsuit, binoculars, sun block, hat and insect repellent.
